This item was acquired over 20 years ago from an acquaintance who owned a long-established, traditional Japanese restaurant. They had a large collection of works by various artists, and they gave me some pieces when they renovated. This is a clam-shaped dish with a convenient depth, making it easy to use. The indescribable pale pink color is accented with the fresh green of new growth, making it a very spring-like piece. It has a comfortable thickness, allowing you to feel the warmth of the artist's hands. As shown in the image, I used to place a small kenzan (flower frog) inside and arrange spring flower branches like peach blossoms or cherry blossoms. As it is an old item, there are some unavoidable minor stains, but they do not detract from the atmosphere; rather, they add a unique charm not found in new items. The condition of the item is good.
