The blade's pattern is lovely. Also, the large, round face of the stand has a lot of character. There's nothing in particular that concerns me. I've cleaned it to remove dirt, but it's an old stand, so it's not prone to warping. Even new ones can rust, and in severe cases, the blade can become stuck and won't come out. This one had some rust as well, so I've removed the dirt and wiped off the oil, so please rest assured about that. Please refrain from price negotiations, except for bulk purchases.
