This is the 130th model of the Swedish-made MORA 2000 knife. With a tip. Handle: Made of rubber, so it won't slip with blood during gutting when fishing or hunting. The symmetrical design is also ambidextrous, making it convenient for both right- and left-handed users. Sheath: Made of resin and has drainage holes, making it easy to wash away seawater and blood. Blade: Stainless steel, rust-resistant, and easy to clean. The blade is 2.5mm thick, but thins towards the tip. I use the tip for soft, slippery areas and fine details, and the base for prying open parts, depending on the application. If I had to say, stainless steel is less likely to bite into the material (slippery?) compared to carbon steel, and it's probably not suitable for hard materials, so I recommend keeping its use for tasks like splitting firewood to a minimum.
