I opened a brand new, unopened item. I wiped the glass surface with alcohol. I confirmed the soft effect. It's a 67mm diameter soft filter. At first glance, it looks cloudy, but it only appears that way due to microscopic protrusions. The appearance is almost new, but it's an unbranded product, so it's an inexpensive listing. High-end filters hurt when they get scratched, but with an inexpensive filter, you can easily replace it.
