I bought them because they were featured in "Walking: A Habit That Will Seriously Change Your Life." They look like VANS or other skate shoes. The fit is comfortable, with no constriction on the toes, allowing for freedom of movement. Unlike vivobarefoot, the soles aren't thin, so your feet are less likely to hurt. The outsole is 5.5mm, and the insole is 4mm. I usually wear 26.0-26.5cm in Altra shoes, but these splay shoes in size 8 (26.0) felt quite roomy. They might fit someone who usually wears 27.0cm.
