This is a Paulownia brazier, a traditional craft of Kanazawa, made using Kanazawa's traditional Paulownia woodcraft techniques. Size: Approximately 31cm in maximum diameter, approximately 21cm in height. Some of the seashells are peeling (photos 1 and 2). It would be lovely to place potted plants or other greenery inside and display it in your room. The clipping from the mail-order magazine (photo 8) may be by a different artist, but it is included for reference.
