There is a shallow undercut on the inner rim edge, making it difficult for the lips to touch the inner cup wall, resulting in less fatigue. The cup is slightly deeper than a current Bach 3C. The shoulder angle from the cup to the bore is distinct. The throat section just before the bore is slightly thicker. The throat is #28 (3.57mm). The backbore is between a Warburton 7 and 8. There are minor scratches and marks from inserting and removing the mouthpiece, and some slight modifications to the shank, but there are no scratches that affect playing, such as peeling plating on the rim.
