This is a magnificent Hagi tea bowl by Masamine Kodaka (who studied under Taibi Yoshika), a master of Hagi ware, with a written inscription by Kaisen Iguchi, the younger brother of Tantansai, the 14th generation Urasenke tea master, making it a highly esteemed item. The mark is "Tachibana" (mandarin orange), which matches the work and the original box. While not a super famous artist, the excellence of the work is palpable when you handle it. Size: Approximately 9 cm in height, approximately 12.3 cm in width. Please allow for some error. Immaculate, beautiful condition. Personally, I believe it is unused.
