I remade a kimono with a design by Sayoko Yamaguchi that I purchased at a recycle shop. There are some wrinkles that couldn't be removed. The entire garment has gold leaf and printing, giving it a somewhat stiff feel, but it is silk. There are also some areas where the gold leaf has rubbed off (?). The outer fabric is silk from the kimono. The lining is from the hakke (underskirt) of another kimono, and the material is silk. All sizes are approximate. I'm very clumsy (--;) and tend to tear paper bags easily, so I decided to store it in this silk drawstring bag. The image shows a Tsugaru shamisen placed inside. This is handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this.
