This is a purple komon (patterned kimono). It's quite old, and the lining is beni-kinu (red silk). It has a shibori (tie-dye) pattern, and the plain areas have a textured pattern, or what's called a jimon (ground pattern). Overall, it looks beautiful, but there seem to be some stains here and there. There's also a streak on the collar. Please check the photos. I think it's suitable for remaking.
