I put batteries in the main unit, and while it makes a startup sound, the LCD doesn't display anything, and it's also unresponsive. Because of this, I was unable to check the other sensors. You will need to purchase a separate main unit. I built a line-tracing robot (see photo 8) in the past, but I haven't built anything else since, and it's been stored in the box. The parts are very small, and I started counting them, but I gave up because I found some of the small parts missing. This is a discontinued item, and it's probably a great deal for parts, but because the main unit won't start, I can't check the sensors. Please understand.
