The material is slightly crisp. The fabric has some stretch. It's water-repellent, so it will help to keep you from getting cold and wet in the coming season when it rains, snows, or sleets. In my personal opinion, it's a bit larger than a standard M size. So, I used to wear it with warm clothes or tights underneath, thinking that the "water repellency + warmth" would enhance the functionality of this garment. I actually thought it was warm^_^ In terms of design, the long length and the shirring at the back waist are a nice accent and can help to improve your silhouette.
