This is a Fender Stratocaster. It's a left-handed model, but it has been modified to be played as a right-handed guitar by creating a right-handed nut. It's a recreation of Jimi Hendrix's Stratocaster for right-handed players. For this modification, I requested the following modifications from ESP, referencing the guitar used by SUGIZO (photos 5 and 6): - Changed the nut to a right-handed one. - Removed the tone knob for the center pickup and made it a master tone. - Changed the pickup selector to 3-way (front → front + rear → rear) to maximize the advantage of the reverse angle of the rear pickup relative to the strings. The delicate sound of the Stratocaster remains, with the high frequencies being just right, resulting in a gentle sound. - Changed to roller-type string hangers to reduce friction with the wound strings. - Changed the tremolo block to steel. Also, the guitar body was purchased used, and the previous owner had made the following modifications: - Changed the front pickup to a Seymour Duncan. - Changed the neck plate to a freedom custom guitar research one. - Changed to locking pins, and it's also the type that can use a regular strap. Attachments for the strap side are also included. Other specifications are as follows: - Neck: Maple - Fingerboard: Maple - Nut: Bone - String spacing: 11.5mm - 21 frets - 3.8kg It resonates very well and is considered to be a "good" one. The frets have about 80% life remaining on the high frets. There are scratches and signs of use from normal use, but there are no major scratches. Type: Stratocaster type Color: Black系 (Black-based)
