I purchased this item from Babies "R" Us approximately two years ago. It has been stored in a closet at home for about six months since my child stopped playing with it. There are no noticeable scratches, but please consider that this is a used item that my child has played with. Functionality has been confirmed. Alcohol disinfection has been performed. The box is not included. I plan to remove the batteries, wrap the item in bubble wrap, and ship it in a cardboard box.
