This is a very rare item. We have purchased a bulk lot of deadstock Showa-era hair accessories. The metal fittings were deteriorated, so they have been removed and new barrette fittings will be attached. These were found in the storage room of a house, and it seems they were deadstock from a workshop rather than a retail store, as acrylic sheets were found with them. Based on the shape and color of the metal fittings and the style of the patterns, we believe they were made in the 1955-1964 period. Although these are unused items, they are very old, so there may be minor scratches and dullness in the patterns. Please check the photos. Resin is used for adhering the parts. Please be aware if you have a resin allergy. The barrettes use Japanese-made metal fittings. We have chosen and used Little Moon fittings, which hold well. We strive to make the photos as close to the actual color as possible, but please understand that there may be slight differences depending on your monitor.
