Thank you for viewing. This is a uniquely shaped, square Imban-de plate with a plover design, purchased at an antique market about 10 years ago. These are quite rare these days. The plover Imban (printed design) is charming. The base isn't perfectly level, suggesting it was made in the early Meiji era. It might be a bit cramped for a round cake, but it's perfect for a smaller, square cake like an opera cake. There are no noticeable major chips or scratches. Please check the images carefully.
