This is an antique red shigoki (sash) that I have kept at home. The material is thin and soft silk. It has a pattern such as a floral design. When paired with a furisode (long-sleeved kimono), it adds a lot of glamour and creates a striking look. It is a long size, with ample length, and is a rare item that can be used by adults. You can enjoy various ways of tying and arranging it. As it is an antique item, there are some light stains like in image 8 and small holes (image 9), but I don't think they will be noticeable when worn.
