Although the exact age is unknown, it was stored in a storehouse wrapped in newspapers from the early Showa era, so I believe it is an old item from the Taisho era or earlier. This is a very auspicious and gorgeous flat bowl with a vibrant hand-dyed vermilion lacquer, featuring a background of pine trees and a minogame (turtle with a straw raincoat) and cranes painted in gold.
