This is a set of two sashimi knives. The blade lengths are 29.5cm and 23.5cm respectively. Both are Aogami No. 2 steel. According to the maker, they have already been heat-treated. Originally, I planned to sharpen them myself, but I'm selling them because I don't have time. The handles were also carefully chosen by me to match the blades. They are made of high-grade ebony and white buffalo horn, a combination befitting a high-quality sashimi knife. The handles of these two knives have buffalo horn ferrules and beautiful colors. I personally like these handles very much and was planning to keep them for my best knives. If you sharpen and finish them properly, each knife would be worth about 30,000 to 50,000 yen. In other words, if you finish and sell both, they could be worth a total of up to 80,000 yen. The asking price for this sale is 20,000 yen.
