Traditional Kokeshi - Naruko Style Naruko Onsen, Miyagi Prefecture ① Craftsman: Seiji Okazaki (1926-2002) ② Craftsman: Seiichi Okazaki (1949-) This is a set of parent and child craftsmen's works, featuring the large chrysanthemum body pattern that symbolizes Naruko Kokeshi, with elegant facial features. Size: Both ① and ② are almost the same. Height: 21.5cm, Head Diameter: 6cm, Base Diameter: 5cm These works were purchased about 30 years ago from Seiji Okazaki's shop & workshop in Naruko Onsen and have been stored at home. There is some wood aging, sun discoloration, and fading. Especially in ①, there are some discoloration stains on the wood itself (Photos 3, 4, and 5).
