You can fold it up and put it in the pouch, then carry it in your case. It's popular because it protects your precious sanshin and case from the rain, even in a sudden downpour. We have thin, plain, water-repellent fabrics in black, red, ivory, and blue. The back is smoky silver, though you won't see it while in use. Production takes about 3-4 days. The thin, water-repellent fabric has a rustling feel. It's lightweight and reliable. It's not completely waterproof, but it does protect from rain. The opening is treated with elastic like a shampoo hat, so you can adjust it. OK only for sanshin cases that are backpack style! When the rain cover is on, you can't use the side handle of the case. If you put this cover on during your usual outings, it will prevent your case from getting dirty and damaged, and your case will last longer (*^_^*).
