Wet Fly Soft Hackle Pattern Colors: Black, Gray, Tan, Olive, Black Hook Size: TMC103BL #15 This is a soft hackle wet fly with a dubbed body. The plump body drifts just below the surface, making it effective for fish that are aware of the surface but wary of floating objects. This is commonly known as being effective for "spooky" or "educated" fish. Soak the body thoroughly with water and try drifting it with minimal false casting. This fly also excels in retrieve fishing at managed fishing areas during the off-season. You can fish it on the surface, or use a sinking line to achieve your desired sink rate.
