This is a small container made of cherry bark craft (sakurakawa zaiku, kabazaiku) with a single tier of three drawers (hikidashi). The back (photo 10) and bottom (photo 11) are not made of cherry bark. The rest of the exterior is cherry bark craft. The inside of the drawers is lined with a felt-like red sheet. Size of the main body: Width 48.8cm, Depth 17.8cm, Height 10.6cm Size of the drawers: Width 14.9cm, Depth 17.3cm, Height 6.7cm This item was used as a small container on a living room board at my parents' house. I don't know when it was purchased. There is a dent on the upper left corner (photo 9) as if it had been bumped against something. The damage is not noticeable from the front.
