A mechanism built into the body allows the doll to say "Papa" and "Mama" in a lovely voice when two strings are pulled. Both voices sound soft, and it's a charming feature that allows you to feel the warmth of the technology of the time. It also has a walking function; when you move its legs alternately, it will swing its face from side to side as if walking. The beautiful blue-gray paperweight eyes that move left and right are also very cute, and the adorable movements make it seem as if the doll is really chatting while taking a walk. *Operation has been confirmed; everything works, but there may be some difficulty in distinguishing the voices due to aging, and there may be individual differences in the mechanism.
