Defrosting Plate 2mm This was even introduced on TV shopping! They were calling it a defrosting plate boom on TV, haha. Of course, it's not a microwave, so it doesn't defrost instantly! It's designed to defrost naturally, but faster, and with less dripping. It's said to be 7 times faster than natural defrosting♪ If you place it on something like a sink, allowing for more heat dissipation from the plate, defrosting will be even faster! It's also effective for cooling down food, like for bento boxes. I personally don't recommend it, but you can also use it as a cutting board. Although there are individual differences, it weighs around 320g, so it's quite heavy.
