The A-2 is a summer flight jacket. There is some slight scuffing on the inside of the sleeves, but other than that, it's in excellent condition. I haven't done any touch-up coloring. I bought this in Harajuku in either 1991 or 1992. Last year, the ribbing was damaged, so I had it replaced for 24,000 yen. Of course, it's 100% wool. I've seen many authentic vintage A-2s, and I think this one is quite close. It has a stand-up collar, so it's made with the later models in mind. The zipper is SCOVILL, not TALON, which is also a more particular specification.
