Made in USA SHELL: horse hide Size: 40 Shoulder width: 50 cm Body width: 55 cm Length: 61 cm Sleeve length: 63 cm (including ribbing) This is a horsehide A-2 in size 40, a golden size. There is some slight scuffing on the inside of the sleeves, but other than that, it's in excellent condition. I haven't touched up the color. I bought this in Harajuku in either 1991 or 1992. Last year, the ribbing was damaged, so I had it replaced for 24,000 yen. Of course, it's 100% wool. I've seen many authentic vintage A-2s, and I think this one is quite close. It has a stand collar, so it's made with a later model in mind. The zipper is SCOVILL, not TALON, which is also a more niche specification.
