This is the Homare ver. II violin shoulder rest. I purchased it around February 2022 and used it for about one or two years. Unlike standard shoulder rests, the method of setting it on the instrument is different. It's highly regarded for improving resonance and tone, and while it sits lower than standard rests and took some getting used to, I found it very comfortable to use. However, as I've been improving my posture and other aspects of playing, I've stopped using a shoulder rest. It's been stored at home for about a year, and I don't think I'll be using it anymore, so I'm offering it for sale. If you're considering changing your shoulder rest or are interested in the Homare, what do you think? The only included accessory is the instruction manual; there is no box.
