This is a US-exclusive collector's watch and pin badge set, designed and produced to commemorate the death of Superman. It includes a 28-page comic book (excluding advertisements) depicting Superman's final moments, and a special flyer from when these sets were sold at the US department store, Macy's. Superman died in DC Comics' "Superman" #75, published in November 1992 (this comic is included). Watchmaker Fossil mourned the death of the world's greatest superhero and produced a limited edition watch set of 10,000 pieces in the US. This item is number 7861, and the back of the watch is engraved with 7861/10000. It comes with an original pin badge featuring the year Superman was active, and is housed in a hard plastic box with the S logo. A Fossil instruction manual is also included. The paper outer box is also included, but it has some scratches and discoloration. The watch has been confirmed to be working, and will be shipped with a new battery after your order.
