Therefore, specifications assuming rope descent are incorporated in various places. ・Reinforcement and non-slip on the outer heel for easy control during the first rope descent. ・Special processing on the arch of the foot to withstand friction with the rope. Also, the Vibram logo on the normal Vibram sole is yellow, but this is a special specification where the logo is also black so that it is not easily visible during descent. This Melee model, the low-cut model of all nylon that is not GORE-TEX, seems to have been distributed in Japan, but I have never seen this mid-cut and leather Gore-Tex model, so it is probably not sold in Japan. This model also comes in TAN color and Multicam, but the Gore-Tex model is only available in black. The inner lining is thick, so the size is about 0.5cm smaller than Danner Light. For reference, my width is wide, and sneakers are US9 1/2 (27.5cm), Danner Light and Red Wing are US8 1/2 (26.5cm) and are just the right size, but these boots were perfect at US9 (27.0cm).
