It was not merely a workshop, but a kiln born from the ideal "to elevate porcelain into art." The pieces quickly gained a reputation, and the customer base continued to grow, leading to its development into a full-fledged porcelain factory in 1872. Around 1900, the Guérin kiln became known as one of France's leading popular kilns ⁂ However, they did not choose the path of mass production that the era demanded. Each piece was finished by hand-painting, shaped, and adorned with gold. Prioritizing beauty over efficiency, and artistry over profit, the kiln quietly closed its doors in 1932.
