Thank you for viewing. This is a Japanese-style fishing rod. I do fish, but I haven't used this rod myself, so I don't know much about it. However, after researching it, it seems to be a rod used for fishing gobies and sand smelt. The condition doesn't seem to show much use, but please judge from the images. It's difficult to read, but it says "宗博?" (Souhaku?). The metal guide at the tip comes off, but it should be fine if you glue it back on. I believe the material is bamboo, but the whole rod is slightly warped. If you have any questions, please ask, and I will answer to the best of my knowledge. Thank you.
