It uses OJJ (Original Japanese Jersey), a signature Ten-C material, which is a highly functional fabric (a special fabric made by densely knitting nylon and polyester). Despite being a synthetic fiber, it ages over time the more you wear it, allowing you to enjoy it for a long time. It faithfully reproduces the original 1965 US military field jacket, including the front zip fastener, waist drawstring, and a hood that can be stored in the collar. This is from the early collection, so it features the chrysanthemum crest. I own several Ten-C items, and I believe the early ones have superior materials and construction. I've only worn it about twice, but there are some marks and stains characteristic of TEN-C and this color.
