The trio of Ahmad Jamal (p), Israel Crosby (b), and Vernel Fournier (ds) takes on the standard classic "But Not For Me" by Gershwin, and you can immerse yourself in the exquisite groove where Jamal's lively piano touch and block chords blend with the lighthearted brushwork of the drums. I think this is the best of the many Jamal Trio live albums from this period. US Original Argo LP-628 mono DG Numerous versions were released around the same time as the first edition, and this record is likely the original or something close to it. The jacket has age-related deterioration, including folds, yellowing, tears at the top and bottom repaired from the inside, and stains. The record has fine scratches and scuffs, but overall, the noise is minimal and in good condition.
