This is a souvenir from a trip to Australia, a painting of a lizard on a natural stone created in an art style by Aboriginal Australians. The lizard's body is decorated with patterns reminiscent of a skeleton and internal organs. This is a traditional technique often seen in northern Australia, based on the idea of depicting not only the "outside" of the subject, but also the "inside (the essence of life)." I bought this 30 years ago when I went to Australia and displayed it at home for a few months, but it has been stored carefully ever since. I don't know what the square shape on the back (some kind of mark?) is. Please refer to photo 9. The size is shown at the end of the photos. This is a handmade item from 30 years ago and has been stored at home by an amateur, so please understand. If you have any questions, Please feel free to comment. #Australia #Ornament #Object #Art #X-rayPainting #RockPainting #RockArt #StonePainting #AboriginalArt #northqueensland
