This is a detailed tack pin brooch featuring a horse with a handsome face trotting. It has genuine Akoya pearls with a solid shine at its feet, and I feel it is a very elegant piece with its graceful, dynamic appearance. As it is a tack pin type, it is large enough to be noticeable when attached to the collar of a jacket or coat, but when used as a hat pin as shown in the image, the lack of shadows from the top light gives it even more shine and creates a three-dimensional impression. The main material is sv925, including the needle, and is hallmarked. (The catch parts are made of metal.) The decorative pearls are genuine Akoya pearls, approximately 8mm in size. (Not faux pearls) Please check the size in the image. This pin brooch belonged to my mother. I believe it is from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. It had been sleeping in a chest of drawers for a long time, and I think it was used for the first time after I inherited it. I have used it twice, but as it is an sv925 product, the tip of the needle is originally blunt, and it easily pierced a tweed jacket, but I felt uneasy about the ribbon part of the hat unless I made a pilot hole with an embroidery needle before passing it through.
