This is a panel theater based on the Ukrainian folk tale, "The Mitten." An old man and a dog are walking along a quiet, snowy road. The old man doesn't notice he's dropped his mitten and keeps walking. The animals notice the mitten. "It looks warm..." "Let me in!" "Me too!" And everyone happily squeezes inside. When the mitten gets too crowded, the dog barks, and everyone jumps out in surprise. Then the old man and the dog come back, find the mitten, and go home. The large mitten has pockets, so the animals can go inside. The back of this mitten is lined with flannel to prevent it from slipping. (See image 2) The old man and the dog have pictures on both sides, and the old man's pocket has a slit so you can put the mitten away.
