This is an import box set titled "The Berliner Philharmoniker play Mozart." It features performances by the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Abbado, Giulini, Mehta, and others, and includes Mozart's major symphonies, serenades, and other works without duplication. Almost all of the famous symphonies are included, but it's a shame that Symphony No. 38 "Prague" is not. Note that Sony Music box sets often do not include a booklet, and this set is no exception. Regarding CD2, Symphony No. 39, the conductor is listed as Abbado, but according to the "HMV" website (regarding the mislabeling), the actual conductor is Giulini. The "Disk Union" website also lists Giulini. If you are interested, please search for "Mozart Symphony No. 39 Abbado Berlin Philharmonic." When I actually listened to No. 39, I felt that, to put it positively, the tempo was "a bit slow and dignified," or, to put it negatively, "a bit slow with some rubato and a bit sluggish," so I believe it is indeed conducted by Giulini. I have confirmed that the CDs play on my home equipment (stereo and PC) before listing.
