This is a Franz Kirschnek violin, No. 11 Orchestra Series. The violin size is not specified, but the total length is approximately 42.5cm, which is equivalent to 1/8 size. The roots of Franz Kirschnek go back to Joseph Muller, who was born in Bohemia (present-day Czech Republic) in 1850. Since opening his workshop in 1880, he received various awards and exhibited at the Paris World's Fair in 1900. In 1933, his grandson-in-law, Franz Kirschnek, established his own company, which became the current Franz Kirschnek company. The current workshop is located in Erlangen, near Bubenreuth, Germany.
