Unused, but offered as "Near Mint" due to the absence of a box and instruction manual. 【Flower, Bird, and Plum Blossom Brocade】 In the history of Japanese dyeing and weaving, the vast collection of inherited textiles that appeared after the Horyu-ji Temple textiles are called the Shosoin Treasures. This original piece is one of them, featuring a design of six-petaled flowers, which appear to be plum blossoms, placed opposite each other, with ornaments resembling necklaces and small, lovely birds in between. The beautiful brocade uses green, red, light red, and white colors. Judging from its use in banners, box covers, and other ceremonial garments, it was one of the brocades favored during the Nara period.
