A sometsuke (blue and white) and aka-e (red enamel) bowl (serving bowl) with a design of a shishi (a mythical lion-like creature) in blue sometsuke. I've forgotten which kiln it's from. Is the design "shishi and peony"? Size: Approximately 20 cm in diameter, approximately 9 cm in height Around the base, there are kiln changes (yōhen) and small stone-like adhesions from firing. A "maru-in" (round mark) kiln mark is stamped on the back. This item was treasured and kept at home. This is an offering as an antique and used item. There are small scratches, scuffs, and stains commensurate with age. Please check the images and understand before purchasing.
