Made by the second generation of Shoken-sai Toko. Approximate dimensions are: Width: 31cm, Depth: 25cm, Seated Height: 34cm. The face and body are sculpted from paulownia wood, coated with gesso and finished with multiple layers of paint. The hair is human hair. The kimono is made of antique silk fabric, and it's a very large size for a young doll. Dolls of this size are rarely produced, making this one very rare. There is a slight sense of aging throughout the kimono. This is an antique-style doll that has aged approximately 20 years and allows for changing clothes. There is some fading on the kimono.
