Braun, Germany, "ABW22" Type 4837 wall clock released in 1980. The rounded frame and highly visible indexes are perfectly balanced, and the simple, modern design is like a textbook example of a clock. This design was created by Dietrich Lubs, who, along with Dieter Rams, supported Braun for 40 years. Lubs, as Braun's chief designer, designed most of the clocks, and his rational and functional designs, embodying the spirit of Bauhaus, had a great influence on subsequent designs. There are minor scratches, yellowing of the hands, and a crack at the base of the minute hand, but no other significant damage. The bellows-shaped rubber part that hides the ball joint is missing.
