When you turn the top part, it rotates, and the string winds up, lifting the seat to the upper floor. In the middle, there's a curved slide where you can ride the included wooden vehicle. Sylvanian Families child-sized figures can sit in it. It's a very fun secret base in the forest (*ˊᵕˋ*) This is a used item that my child has played with, but it's relatively clean and I think it can still be enjoyed.
