While I haven't used them much, each teacup shows signs of iron flecks that seem to have occurred during firing. These are not perfect items, but rather pieces that allow you to enjoy their individual, aged character. There are no cracks or chips, but I recommend them to those who appreciate the atmosphere of ancient teacups or a modern art aesthetic. Besides tea, you could also use them for soba noodles or somen. The base of the teacups has the characters "景徳" (Keitoku), but as they were a gift, I don't know their origin. However, they are not from Jingdezhen, China.
