Stored in a dehumidified cabinet. The lens appears to be free of noticeable scratches, haze, and dirt to the untrained eye. The aperture and focus rings move smoothly. There is some slight oil on the aperture blades, but this does not affect shooting. Both camera bodies fire the shutter, and the shutter speed changes according to the speed dial position. (Accuracy is unknown.) The FTb's light meter works when a battery is inserted. The FX does not have a light meter (window only).
