Soprano Saxophone KAWAI B&S Blue Label Included: KAWAI dedicated hard case Mouthpiece Ligature Reed Made in Germany and later sold under the KAWAII name, this is a vintage soprano saxophone. The Blue Label is particularly well-regarded, with enthusiasts around the world. While YAMAHA has a unique sound quality in both pianos and saxophones, this KAWAII model lacks that characteristic. It has many fans, and like their pianos, the saxophones produce a very pure and honest tone. It has a full sound and can be used for classical, jazz, and fusion. It also brings out the characteristics of the mouthpiece well. I prefer this over current YAMAHA and Yanagisawa models. The table keys are similar in shape to Selmer's vintage soprano style, but once you get used to them, there's nothing particularly difficult about them. Being vintage, it shows some age, but it's in good condition without any major scratches or damage. I have confirmed that it produces sound from top to bottom, but it hasn't been maintained recently, so please have it adjusted yourself.
