I purchased and maintained a Telecaster component guitar. I added a Fender plate, string retainer, and headstock logo. I liked the oil-finish-like paint, the beautiful color, and the wood grain. I've adjusted the bridge string height for easier playing. The body is thick and a bit heavy. I don't know the body material. Why not try swapping out the pickups for your preferred ones and customizing it? One of the jack plate bolts is broken inside, but it doesn't affect use, so I've left it as is. It will be shipped in a generic soft case and then in a cardboard box. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about details.
