I am selling this item as I am decluttering my kimono collection. This is a washable kimono that I found at a used kimono shop. It was a new item with the basting stitches still in place, but I had it professionally cleaned upon purchase because the basting threads were cut in places and I was concerned about the smell. It has been stored for several years, so there are some fold wrinkles. The color is a subdued, tasteful green, but it has a cute dragonfly pattern. I feel it's a little too cute for me, so I would like to pass it on to someone who likes it. As you can see in the photos, it has a textured pattern and I believe it is a high-quality washable kimono. Measurements: Length from shoulder: 160 cm 裄 (Sleeve to sleeve): 67 cm Sleeve length: 48.5 cm Front width: 24.5 cm Back width: 30 cm I believe it is an older item, so some of the threads are weak. I have repaired a small tear in the stitching of the collar lining on the underside. The threads may break during wear, so if you are handy with a needle and thread, you may need to repair it as needed. It is made in Japan, so the fit is comfortable. (I own a washable kimono made in Japan that I wear often, and the feel and breathability are not much different from silk.) *The obi belt is not included (it is my own). *It will be folded small for shipping.
