Original price in 1974: ¥73,000 This is a direct-drive turntable. I am currently using it. It has an exquisite design that mixes metal and wood, which is hard to describe. It also has a certain plainness, like a broadcast console. The performance is simple to operate, and in a sense, I have no complaints. The rotation speed is adjusted with a knob while looking at the strobe, but there are no problems. Adjustments are also simple; the arm height can be easily changed with a single screw, and there is no anti-skating. It's remarkably straightforward. However, the oil in the lifter is running low, so the range of motion is reduced. Currently, I can use it by carefully adjusting the arm height, but I think it would be easier to use if you refilled the oil, so I'll mention it. The catchphrase at the time was: "A direct-drive player system developed with a focus on excellent basic performance, operability, and durability." I think that's exactly right. The appearance is old, so there are some scratches here and there. The dust cover is smoked, but it has scratches. I am currently using it in a 50Hz area, but if you use it in a 60Hz area, you may need to make some adjustments. I don't know about that myself, so I'll leave it to those who do.
