Please read to the end. These are boxing gloves made by the Mexican brand CASANOVA. Although not well-known in Japan, it's a prestigious brand used by Yoko Gushiken, Jiro Watanabe, and Alexis Arguello overseas. They were available in Japan until the 90s, but now it seems they are difficult to obtain except through Mexico.d.c. I purchased these last year in near-new condition from a flea market site, and I have used them twice for sparring. After use, I wiped the inside with anhydrous ethanol and sprayed disinfectant, so I think they are in almost the same condition as when I bought them. Notably, the leather of CASANOVA gloves has changed to a glossy leather since last year, so it seems that you can no longer order them with this matte leather. I personally think they are in good condition for a used item, but there are individual differences in perception, so I recommend purchasing new ones if you are concerned. As for the concerning points, there is some spot-like discoloration on the knuckle area. The laces have been replaced with separate black laces from Winning. As a point of caution, since they are made in Mexico, the weight is not as accurate as those made in Japan. Although they are labeled as 14OZ, they actually feel slightly heavier than 14OZ. I feel like they are around 16OZ. Also, since they are handmade, the stitching is inferior to Winning, which is made in Japan. I am selling these because my Winning 14OZ gloves, which I had been ordering for a year, have arrived. To prevent swapping, returns are not accepted for any reason.
